Equipment - Fume Trap
The Fume Trap provides a safer soldering environment by drawing fumes away from the
person soldering and traps them in a disposable activated carbon filter. A 110 CFM fan
provides maximum fume intake up to 12" away. Its lightweight enough to place right on
top of your project with soft rubber feet to protect the glass surface.
The carbon filter cartridge "snaps" into the rear of the housing and is easy to install or
remove. Replacement filters are sold three to a pack. There is no specified time interval
for replacement of the filter since usage of the unit will vary. Replacement is necessary if
there is a visible blockage of the filter held up to the light or if it feels sticky to the touch.
