Northern Art Glass

Restoration

This magnificent, "Rose" window can be found at St. Andrew's United Church in
Buckingham, Quebec. We removed and fully restored the century-old glasswork
in 2002.   Asbex Ltd., a heritage restoration firm, rehabilitated the deteriorated
framework. They also replaced existing sheets of Georgian-wire glass obscuring
the exterior view, with clear tempered panes, cut to fit each of the shapes and
vented to prevent a heat build-up between the two layers.

In 2003 we continued the restoration of the rest of the stained glass windows.
