Memorial Windows

Some of the 20 memorial windows installed in St. Mark the Evangelist Anglican Church in
Ottawa, Ontario. The windows feature symbols of faith in the central medallion with auxiliary
symbols depicted below. The Veterans' window, LEFT, showing the white cross with the red
poppies below, is an excellent example of the drama created with this reinforced imagery.
The CENTRE panel is a Resurrection theme with white lilies shown below. The Eucharist window depicts the Chalice and the Host above with images of wheat and grapes in the panel below.
These windows are all very effective in this church. Many thanks to Margaret Lodge and Cynthia Greer from St. Mark's, for their invaluable contributions to this project.
