Restoration
St. John's United Church, Brockville, Ontario
Before (left) and after restoration photos from a project at St. John's Church. The
dedication and some symbols were repainted. Prior to releading, all of the glass was
cleaned in a bath. Note the remarkable difference. The whole support system of T-bars
and saddle bars was redesigned for increased support. New glazing stops were milled
and installed inside and out.
The exterior frame was painted and new glazing with
screened vents was
installed.

The original window was designed and fabricated
by H. Horwood and Sons of Prescott. There is one
other Horwood window in the church
waiting to
be restored.
